Today the LEGO Group and Adidas announced the result of their latest collaborate effort, combining the colors and playfulness of LEGO with the Adidas Superstar sneaker in more than one way. Details below.
Building on their ongoing collaborative partnership, Adidas Originals and the LEGO Group have reunited once again; this time to present a bold new take on the classic Superstar silhouette. Launching alongside the playful Adidas Originals LEGO Superstar sneaker is a buildable Superstar LEGO brick model, which will add a surprising new addition to your awe-inspiring sneaker collection.
Inspired by the rich sporting heritage of Adidas – one of the world’s leading sports brands and a global designer and developer of athletic footwear and apparel – Adidas Originals is a lifestyle brand founded in 2001. With the Adidas archive at its foundation, Adidas Originals continues to evolve the brand’s legacy through its commitment to product innovation and its ability to filter the creativity and courage found on courts and sporting arenas through the lens of contemporary youth culture. Marked by the iconic Trefoil logo that was first used in 1972 and championed by those that continue to shape and define creative culture, Adidas Originals continues to lead the way as the pioneering sportswear brand for the street.
ADIDAS ORIGINALS LEGO SUPERSTAR SNEAKER
Highlighting iconic elements from both brands, the Adidas Originals LEGO Superstar sneaker brings together Adidas’ archival aesthetics with the LEGO brand’s instantly recognizable bricks.
Playfully reimagining the iconic silhouette, the LEGO Superstar sneaker in adult sizing features a classic white and black leather construction that is elevated with custom three stripes, shell-toe, and heel tab, which have been carefully crafted to perfectly emulate the LEGO brick pattern. The striking look is then rounded out with gold foil accents.
The adult version of this shoe is complimented in kids sizing, this time bringing a colorful and playful LEGO take on the Superstar and rounding out options for the whole family.
#10282 LEGO ADIDAS ORIGINALS SUPERSTAR
In this never-seen-before LEGO offering, you’ll be recreating the iconic sneaker from LEGO elements to make a collectible display piece that’s sure to spark conversations.
Just like the real thing, this LEGO version includes the iconic Adidas Originals Superstar sneaker graphics, shell-toe shape, trefoil logo, and serrated 3 stripes mark. Right shoe or left shoe? You decide! Or get both to create a pair! This set includes 17 extra LEGO elements so you can choose to build either the right-foot or the left-foot sneaker. For extra realism, it even has shoelaces and comes in an authentic shoebox.
The model measures over 12 cm high, 27 cm long, and 9 cm wide and with a display stand and plaque, this model will be appreciated by anyone who loves Adidas and streetwear collectibles, as well as LEGO fans.
To celebrate the creativity and spirit of reinvention that’s inherent to the LEGO Adidas Originals Superstar model, the LEGO Group asked six inspiring and diverse creatives to customize their own version of the brick-built sneaker, and now invites all fans to do the same, uploading their personal expressions on social media using the hashtag #RebuiltbyOriginals. Visit LEGO.com/Adidas-Superstar for a sneakpeak on how sneakerheads Aida Kiraya (@afrokickz), Tom Yoo (@tommyoo23), Hanna Helsøe (@helsoe), Leta Sobierajski (@sobierajski), Nicolai Sclater (@ornamentalconifer), and Coffee Boy (@178kz_boy) have played up the originality of their model.
“As a kid of the 80s and growing up in the 90s, the Superstar sneaker with its rich street art culture was such an iconic item, and that’s also when I got my first pair”, said Florian Müller, Senior Designer, LEGO Group. “So when the collaboration with Adidas started I was super excited to work on this model. As shoes represent very organic objects, made from flexible material that also look different on every person, it was a fun challenge to translate this into the LEGO System in Play, which by nature is square and blocky. Thanks to the Superstar team at Adidas Originals it’s been a super collaborative process with valuable insights shared about the art of shoe making, and now we just look forward to seeing how fans will take to the model, customizing it in their own unique and wonderful ways”.
The Adidas Originals and the LEGO Group collaborative Superstar LEGO sneaker will arrive on July 1st and will be available in adult and junior sizing through Adidas.com/LEGO, and select retailers. The Recommended retail price is 140 EUR (adults), 55 – 75 EUR (kids).

Well that’s not something I was expecting. But it makes sense. Sneaker culture is huge.
I love how they made straight lines on the Lego sneakers, and blocky lines on the real sneaker. Haha. Anyway, interesting item.
Neat that they thought of making both the left and right shoe. Very cool.
I’m really looking forward to reading reviews on this. A strange choice for a Lego set, but it seems some people already like it.
Strangest toy thing since Transformers “Sports Label” (Optimus Prime and Megatron that transformed into shoes) and the Transformers Megatron toy that only came with Nike Calvin “Megatron” Johnson shoes.
It looks like it would be an interesting build, but I’m not sure $80 is worth a Lego… shoe.
I think I’d actually have preferred the Sports Label Transformers to this…
Not for me, but this will bring in a lot of people from the sneaker culture. That they put the shoe in a shoe box is genius!!
its my kind of shoe ,do you think it would fit i have pretty big feet? … it seems collectabul I wonder if it will be come rare ?
I found the stats
12 cm high, 27 cm long och 9 cm wide
which should equal approximately
4.75″ high, 10.5″ long, 3.5″ wide
in non-standard measurements.
I don’t know what that could be in any shoe size, though, whether it’d be US, UK or EU… (Apart from that these wouldn’t be the most comfortable sneakers to begin with…)
