LEGO Gift-With-Purchase Sets Coming This Weekend!

There are a couple of freebies coming up this weekend, so if you have been thinking about shopping for LEGO, you might want to wait a couple of days.

The #40601 LEGO Majisto’s Magical Workshop is going to be free with purchases of $250 or more. This set is a recreation of the #6048 LEGO Majisto’s Magical Workshop from 1993 (link to the Brickset database). It even includes the blue wizard and a Dragon Knight. Unfortunately, the knight doesn’t come with a shield like in the original set, but he got a nicely updated torso print and the wizard comes with an updated beard There are some other minor variations, but the set is pretty close to the original. Again, this set will be available this weekend, free with purchases of $250 or more at the Online LEGO Shop.

The second freebie is the #40602 LEGO Winter Market Stall with purchases of $170 or more. This set would be a perfect addition to the LEGO Winter Village collection. It features a festively decorated market stall selling toys. The set also includes a brick-built snowman, a small Christmas tree, and two minifigs wearing nicely printed sweaters. This offer is also going to be available this weekend at the Online LEGO Shop.

Also, remember that the #40595 LEGO Tribute to Galileo Galilei set is still available with purchases of $130 or more. The set features the famous Italian astronomer, physicist, and engineer in his research room with a buildable telescope, rotating heliocentric model, and more. This offer will expire on November 16th, so just before the other freebies go live. Hard decisions to make when to make a purchase at the Online LEGO Shop!

What do you think? How do you like the freebies LEGO is offering this holiday season? Are you planning to get any of them? Feel free to share and discuss in the comment section below!

I wish they included the shield!

Maybe the mold has been discarded…

The Christmas set should have more toys. I would have preferred sweets, hot cocoa, pretzels, etc. Not my favorite Christmas set. They have done some better ones in the past.

The dragon knight set brings back memories. I don’t have my old set anymore, so I would love to get this one. By today’s standards it’s simple, even crude, but when I was a child, it was magic.

Are these going to be the freebies on black Friday too?

That’s my understanding. And they will have sales too.

Hmm, not much I really want or need this time, and the GWP:s aren’t enough to sway me.

Otherwise, I believe this weekend also would offer 2x Insider Points, so I might use the occasion to buy some interesting loose Pick-A-Brick parts…

I think I’ll make the Christmas set into an ice skating rental shop. ( that is if I get this freebie set).

      Why not?

I found a nearly complete second hand copy of 40416 Ice Skating Rink by a recycling station once. Needed some cleaning, I recall, but still one of my better finds…
