As we get closer to the new year, LEGO has been revealing new sets that will be released early next year. So let’s take a look at which sets we know about so far. Please note that I’m only mentioning the ones that are already listed at the Online LEGO Shop and/or in the Brickset database and have good-quality pictures.
2024 LEGO ANIMAL CROSSING SETS: As we discussed previously (see: LEGO Animal Crossing Sets Coming in 2024!), LEGO is going to release five LEGO sets related to the popular franchise; the #77046 LEGO Animal Crossing Julian’s Birthday Party for $14.99, the #77047 LEGO Animal Crossing Bunnie’s Outdoor Activities for $19.99, the #77048 LEGO Animal Crossing Kapp’n’s Island Boat Tour for $29.99, the #77049 LEGO Animal Crossing Isabelle’s House Visit for $39.99, and the #77050 LEGO Animal Crossing Nook’s Cranny & Rosie’s House for $74.99. They will be available starting on March 1st at official LEGO stores and the Online LEGO Shop.
2024 LEGO BRICKHEADZ SET: The only new LEGO BrickHeadz set we know about at this point is the #40673 LEGO Spring Festival Mickey Mouse for $9.99. It features Mickey ready to celebrate Lunar New Year in his tang suit. The set is going to be available starting on January 1st at the LEGO BrickHeadz section of the Online LEGO Shop.
2024 LEGO CHINESE NEW YEAR SETS: The Chinese New Year sets are quite amazing this year. This includes the #40678 LEGO Chinese New Year Festival Calendar for $29.94, the #80112 LEGO Chinese New Year Auspicious Dragon for $89.99, and the #80113 LEGO Chinese New Year Family Reunion Celebration for $129.99. The Chinese New Year sets are well known for their beautiful colors, interesting pieces, beautifully printed elements, and unique minifigures, and next year’s sets definitely don’t disappoint! They will be available starting on January 1st at the seasonal items section of the Online LEGO Shop.
2024 LEGO FRIENDS SETS: The only 2024 set currently listed at the Online LEGO Shop is the #42604 LEGO Friends Heartlake City Shopping Mall for $119.99, however, the Brickset database already has at least one image of several more sets; the #42608 LEGO Friends Mini Boutique, the #42614 LEGO Friends Vintage Fashion Store, the #42620 LEGO Friends Olly’s and Paisley’s Family Home, the #42621 LEGO Friends Heartlake City Hospital, and the #42639 LEGO Friends Mansion. These beautiful buildings could also be mixed with LEGO City sets, or some of them could even be turned into LEGO Modular Buildings! They should all be available starting on January 1st at the LEGO Friends section of the Online LEGO Shop.
2024 LEGO JURASSIC WORLD SETS: There are a couple of LEGO Jurassic World sets already revealed. This includes the #76963 LEGO Jurassic World Baby Dinosaur Rescue Center for $39.99 and the #76964 LEGO Jurassic World Dinosaur Fossils T. Rex Skull also for $39.99. They will be available starting on January 1st at the LEGO Jurassic World section of the Online LEGO Shop.
2024 LEGO MINECRAFT SETS: LEGO Minecraft is getting a large wave next year. The two listed at the Online LEGO Shop are the #21253 LEGO Minecraft Animal Sanctuary for $19.99, and the #21252 LEGO Minecraft Armory also for $19.99. You can find the rest of the sets at the Brickset database, including the #21251 LEGO Minecraft Steve’s Desert Expedition, the #21254 LEGO Minecraft Turtle Beach House, the #21255 LEGO Minecraft Nether Portal Ambush, the #21256 LEGO Minecraft Frog House, and the #21257 LEGO Minecraft Devourer Showdown. They will be available starting on January 1st at the LEGO Minecraft section of the Online LEGO Shop.
2024 LEGO SONIC THE HEDGEHOG SET: There is only one new set listed so far, the #76995 LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog Shadow’s Escape for $19.99. This set is actually going to be available starting on December 1st at the LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog section of the Online LEGO Shop.
2024 LEGO SUPER MARIO SETS: This is another popular franchise with several new sets. The #71429 LEGO Super Mario Nabbit at Toad’s Shop Expansion Set for $19.99, and the #71430 LEGO Super Mario Penguin Family Snow Adventure Expansion Set also for $19.99 are already listed at the Online LEGO Shop for a December 1st release. Two other sets, the #71428 LEGO Super Mario Yoshi’s Egg Nest and the #71431 LEGO Super Mario Koopa Chase have one image each at the Brickset database.
2024 LEGO MONKIE KID SET: One of the most interesting sets revealed for 2024 is the #80054 LEGO Monkie Kid Magapolis City 5th Anniversary set for $189.99. The set comes with 2,330 pieces and includes a Ferris wheel, working elevator and lots of accessories. Plus, the set can be combined into one big build with the #80036 LEGO Monkie Kid the City of Lanterns and the #80044 LEGO Monkie Kid Team’s Hideout (each sold separately). Inspired by the classic Journey to the West novel, LEGO Monkie Kid set are a way for adults to share the Monkey King legend with children in a modern, playful way. You can find them at the LEGO Monkie Kid section of the Online LEGO Shop.
2024 LEGO SETS AVAILABLE EARLY: It’s also worth noting other 2024 sets that are released or can be pre-ordered early; the massive #76269 LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Avenger’s Tower for $499.99 will be available on November 24th, the #10326 LEGO Modular Natural History Museum for $299.99 will be available on December 1st (and you can already pre-order it), the #10327 LEGO Icons Dune Atreides Royal Omithopter for $164.99 is also available for pre-order and will ship starting on February 1st, and the #10329 LEGO Tiny Plants for $49.99 can also be pre-ordered and will ship from December 1st. And while LEGO is adding the 2024 sets, they are also retiring earlier sets, often with a deep discount. So before the end of the year, it’s worth taking a look at the retiring soon section of the Online LEGO Shop.

The Chinese new year dragon and house are awesome. And is Monkie kid going to be like Ninjago with connecting big sets? I bet you could even combine them!

The dragon liiks amazing. I assume the tiles are printed. And I like the dino skull. It will be a perfect display in my theme park.

I’d need to prioritize my time, space and fundings for the foreseeable future, I might buy certain parts for Marvel background civlians, mostly, but not much more, I guess. Cool looking sets, but I must be picky.
