If you received a free LEGO set with one of your future purchases what would it look like? What would the theme be? How about the colors and the elements used? Right now, the LEGO Ideas team is calling on all LEGO builders to design a unique and captivating Gift-With-Purchase set that will wow fans around the world. Whether it’s a miniature creature, a whimsical vehicle, a charming character, or anything else you can imagine, the sky is (almost) the limit! The LEGO Ideas team wants to see your ingenuity shine as you craft a set that not only delights with its build but also captures the essence of LEGO magic and your dreams.
Your submissions should use between 150-250 elements in order to be accepted in this challenge. Submissions should not be based on or reference old LEGO sets or any third-party intellectual property. It’s time to think out of the box!
The challenge will consist of three phases: Submission Phase – Create and submit your entry before the 24th of April, 2024 at 6:00 a.m. EST. Judging Phase – LEGO Ideas judges review the entries and choose the entries for the Fan Vote by the 30th of April, 2024. Voting Phase – Fans will be invited to show their support for the designs, and the votes collected will decide the submission which will become a future LEGO Gift-With-Purchase set. Voting will run from the 30th of April, 2024 – 7th of May, 2024. Winners Announcement – The LEGO Ideas team will share the results of the Fan Vote on LEGO Ideas no later than the 16th of May, 2024!
The grand prize winner of this contest will get the exclusive opportunity to have your model transformed into a new LEGO Ideas Gift-With-Purchase set and receive 10 copies of the final set. On top of that, they will also receive the following: #21348 LEGO Ideas Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon’s Tale, #21347 LEGO Ideas Red London Telephone Box, #21346 LEGO Ideas Family Tree, #21345 LEGO Ideas Polaroid OneStep SX-70 Camera, and #40712 LEGO Icons Micro Rocket Launchpad. Runner-up winners will each receive the following #21348 LEGO Ideas Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon’s Tale, and #40712 LEGO Icons Micro Rocket Launchpad.
