Spending LEGO Insider Points Is Now Easier!

Good news LEGO Insiders! You no longer have to create vouchers to use your points at the Online LEGO Shop! Instead, now you can redeem your points with the click of a button right when you check out.

You can still swap your points for LEGO Insiders rewards, but if you just want to use your points to get a discount on your purchases, there is now a button on the checkout page showing how many points you currently have as well as their dollar value.

When you click “use now’, a page will pop up where you can either pick a reward from the LEGO Insiders Reward Center or get a discount on your purchase. Once you click that button to get a discount, you will find a slider to select the discount you would like, with a minimum of $5 up to the maximum of whatever your points add up to.

Another enhancement is that now the increments are $1 instead of $5 or $10 like in the past, so if you have points adding up to a $10 discount, you can pick $5, $6, $7, $8, $9, and $10 discounts. This makes shopping and redeeming points so much easier!

It’s too late now to shop for Christmas, but you can pre-order some of the 2025 sets coming in January, or if you would like to pick up something (like the retiring sets) between now and then.

What do you think? How do you like the new way of redeeming your points? Do you prefer getting discounts, or do you use your points to redeem rewards? Feel free to share and discuss in the comment section below!

Gosh! Finally! It has been so frustrating to redeem points! They should have done this far earlier, but I’m glad they finally did it! Happy Holidays, everyone! 🙂

Same opinion as above. I sometimes just called in because redeeming my point was so frustrating. Better later than never, I guess.

I’m saving up my points for next year. There is so much I want already! 😄

Do points still expire? Do we get a notification on that?

I believe they expire after two years. Honestly, I never keep them long enough for that to happen. 😅

If you just leave your account dormant for two years and don’t react on your warning notifications, they would expire, I believe, but if you log in fairly regularly, it shouldn’t be a problem.

The old way always made me not use it..so I’d go the the stores near me instead.now I don’t need to go to a busy shop and use my points

I got me six vouchers during the last Black Friday drive or so. I hope I can still use several of them in one go. (Which I seemed to be able to do when I tried it out before canceling my purchase.)

I also redeemed codes fror three different keychains, and have only redeemed one so far. Alas, it seems that I can only redeem one of the codes per (required) purchase, and it was unclear whether I could still redeem any discount vouchers together with any Insiders reward items.
