New LEGO Creator Medieval Castle & Battle Packs!

LEGO recently released an exciting new LEGO Castle set, but this time in the LEGO Creator 3-in-1 collection. The #31168 LEGO Creator Medieval Horse Knight Castle features a movable drawbridge, great hall, stable, smithy, secret treasure chest, king’s bedroom, writing room, and two tower terraces. And best of all, the set comes with three alternate builds: the large castle, a jousting arena with a smaller castle, or a medieval town scene with a windmill. The set also comes with six minifigs: a horse knight king, horse knight champion, horse knight archer, horse knight spearman, a blacksmith, and serpent knight, plus two poseable brick-built horses.

This is one of those sets that would make sense to get three copies of. You could build all three versions of the set, and also get more minifigs for army-building with these two unique factions that we haven’t seen before. The set comes with 1,371 pieces for the very reasonable price of $129.99. You can find it a the LEGO Creator 3-in-1 section of the Online LEGO Shop.

Speaking of army building, if you scroll down the page of the #31168 LEGO Creator Medieval Horse Knight Castle set, under the “Features” section, you will see that LEGO is offering pre-selected bundles via Pick-A-Brick. You can get the 5x Wolfpack Outlaws Bundle, the 5x Crusader Horses Bundle, the 5x Magenta Knights Bundle, the 5x Crusader Archers Bundle, the 5x Viking Villagers Bundle, and the 5x Pirates Bundle. And, if you want more or less of any of the pieces, you can change the quantities in your shopping cart. What a great way to build up your armies without having the search through Pick-A-Brick on your own! This might indeed be the future of how LEGO will be offering what we used to know as battle packs!

What do you think? Are you excited for the new LEGO Creator 3-in-1 Castle? Do you have it already? And how do you like this new way of purchasing battle packs? Feel free to share your thoughts and discuss in the comment section below!

I have this set. I love it. The downside one mini figure knight legs were missing. (I called in for the part). So, right now I have sir Stumpy the legless knight. Lol. I tried to make more knight mini figures but, it just got so expensive. If they are doing battle packs that’s awesome.
