Legless LEGO Legolas – funny LEGO video

Here is just another fun LEGO Lord of the Rings video from the BrotherhoodWorkshop to brighten up your day. Kevin Ulrich (from the BrotherhoodWorkshop) shares that he was bored one day, so he spent 3 hours creating this short tribute to Martin Freeman’s joke about “LEGO Legolas” (see end of video for reference). As you probably know, Martin plays Bilbo Baggins in The Hobbit trilogy… 🙂

The video is short but quite funny. Enjoy! 😛

Here is also a photo from the interview with Martin Freeman showing off his LEGO version of himself before the “Legless LEGO Legolas” joke. 😉

Are you going to post the Valentine’s day one? It came out like yesterday or the day before. Anyway, great video.

Awesome sets Micho! My favorite is Dragon Mountain! I like the Wizard and the dragon in the castle!

Legoman640 February 10, 2013 at 2:39 PM

Yeah that has to be my must-have this year… also, two sets of the Council of Elrond, it’s only $30 and has so many awesome parts. I don’t buy LOTR but this I MUST have specially Arwen’s dress.

Legoman640 February 10, 2013 at 2:54 PM

I’m not much of a fan of LOTR either. Castle’s on my must-have though.

Thanks, Micho! I checked on the pictures this morning while I was at the airport. Awesome, aren’t they? 😀

admin February 10, 2013 at 10:49 PM

Unfortunately I won’t be able to post that one as I’m out of town. But, the link is there to check their channel. 🙂

Yes they are, TOO MUCH good stuff coming out, besides the amazing castle sets I noticed a lot of beautiful female minifigs with really cool pieces like Arwen, the new Leia on the sail barge, the two females from Lone Ranger (that hat and hairpiece on the Stagecoach is the bomb!!), and I LOOOOOVE the new City Surfer Rescue set, I NEVER buy city but I’m getting two of those, and Two Councils of Elrond (even though I don’t buy LOTR either). What are you looking to get from the summer wave Anna?

Micah February 11, 2013 at 8:16 AM

Nice stop-motion!

Micho, so sorry for being a bit slow in responding. I’m out of town working on a project 10-15 hours a day, so my internet time is limited. But it is nice to take a break once in a while and talk about our favortite hobby! 😀

I was just looking throug those pictures of the female minifigs and concluded the same as you; gotta have them! Arwen is beautiful and Leia’s new hair-pice is really sweet!

As far as sets, I’m definitely getting some Lone Ranger sets – just the smaller ones, LOTR – probably multiples… I don’t like this wave of Galaxy Squad as the first wave – kind of disappointing. I’m still not sure about Castle – it’s just a bit lackluster for me. I often have to see sets in person to really make a decision. We shall see. 🙄

Micho February 13, 2013 at 1:20 AM

I agree that the Castle sets are missing a certain something, but you know us addicts, I still gotta get em all… I’m working on getting Bricklink stuff to start merging the crownies with the Lions, and updating my Dragon Masters too… And I started working on my forest… very exciting stuff.

admin February 13, 2013 at 9:39 PM

The Crownies and the Lions gonna be so sweet together! I think it was a good idea from LEGO to make them so similar! I can’t wait to get home and start working out a shopping list too! Have fun with your forest! 😀

Micho February 13, 2013 at 11:39 PM

Oh no!!! Your Bricklink store is closed… I needed some minifig faces… Oh well, I’ll wait until you get back and reopen… hope you have some 🙂

admin February 14, 2013 at 10:15 PM

Micho, so sorry about that, yeah, I thought it is best to keep the store closed while I’m out of town as I’m gone for a full week. Hope you find the heads you are looking for. 😉

Micho February 15, 2013 at 11:55 AM

I had already gotten some, but I’m still waiting for you to come back, you always seem to have something I need.

Probably not for long. I have been agressively selling everything. I’m kind of getting out of the Bricklink business. Only selling the bits of odds and ends I don’t need from new sets. I’m running a business, plus blogging, so also running a larger BL store started to get too much. It is fun though and can be succesful. But at this point I rather blog. 😉

Oh, by the way, you can browse my store to see if you find anything interesting left. The password is “canwait”. 😉

Now you’re a legless LEGO Legolas. LOL! 😀
