Centaurs are mysterious creatures. Legends about them spread across Greece, Egypt, the European Middle Ages, and even as far as India and Sri Lanka. (You can read more about Centaurs on Wikipedia here: Centaur)
Unfortunately it seems Centaurs dislike our modern world as they don’t seem to be around much any more. At least I have never run into one. But I live in America, which doesn’t seem to have a history of Centaurs anyway. 🙁
However when I got the wonderful and very unique custom LEGO helmet and armor pieces from BrickWarriors, I could not help but think they would be perfect for some mythical warrior – like a Centaur!
So I combined them with the custom LEGO Centaur body from BrickForge (the printing is wonderful on this piece!) and a LEGO Dastan (from Prince of Persia) torso. The sword, shield and vambraces are also from BrickForge.
I applied a little-bit of gold paint to make him more mystical and ancient-looking. And there you have it; the LEGO Centaur! 🙂
I want this sword!
It’s nice, isn’t it? You can get it from BrickForge. 😉
Nice work. Well done!!
Thanks! 🙂
Awesome!!! Love the paint job!
Nice centaur.
Very nice! 😀 I find it hard to paint legos.
Nice sword!
I’ve seen a centaur once! But it turns out it was just a guy on a horse.
LOL! 😀

I like that ponytail sticking out of the helmet!
