Belowย is the long-awaited Ninjago Season 3 trailer from Cartoon Network. The ninja are back, with their main objective to train Lloyd, and so is Lord Garmadon, with all new powers determined to destroy the ninja once and for all. What will be the outcome? ๐
It seems like the Destiny’s Bounty (or a similar ship) is back, Lord Garmadon is still evil, the snakes are still around to fight the ninja, and there are also some other characters –ย perhaps pirates? –ย as discussed previously at Ninjago Season 3 – What will it Bring? One big surprise is that it seems that Ninjago Season 3 will start a lot earlier than anticipated – which is of course great news! ๐

I really like that the story is continuing straight from Season 2, instead of starting on a brand new adventure. I’m excited to see what happens next, and especially to see more of the NRG-Ninja in action!

There are pirates, they’re just hard to catch. And if I recall correctly, there was no ZX armor in the first trailer for the Rise of the Snakes season. What do you mean by saying that pythor’s alive? Lord garmadon can unleash the snakes, and it’s also possible that they were not permanantly locked in. ๐
Well at the end of the second season Skales brings up that someone has to lead now. So I am guessing Skales is leading them.

In the first trailer the only ninja in ZX is Lloyd – and that’s from Zane’s dream anyways. All the others are either normal or DX ๐

To be honest they look a bit like scarecrows. They don’t look a lot like pirates because it is a bit blurry. I think this proves the thing with the ocean plunders and the stone army is fake, but could it be real.

Pythor, those are really good questions. This trailer was so unexpected and pretty much took everyone by surprise. I’m not even sure that if this is in fact a trailer for Season 3, or maybe just for a series of mini-movies that will lead up to Season 3. As Geneva mentioned in her post, LEGO actually doesn’t use the terms season 1, 2 and 3. It is only used by Ninjago fans. So, yeah, it is all a bit confusing, but the good news is that SOMETHING is coming next month. ๐

Well, since snakes are still around, it makes some sense. and Lloyd will probably be tall in the movie, so that’s why he’s tall in his spinner (I know he’s not tall in the Trailer, but he’ll probably grow is what I’m saying.)

Im thinking, why are the snakes back? Arent pirates and garamadon enough for the ninja to fight? Plus i dont think the snakes will be in any spinners or sets!
yah totally pythor, i thought the serpentine went back under ground? and pythor was spit up by the great devourer bcuz if sensai came out, pythor must’ve too right? well i love pythors accent so whateva! yay pythor!!!! ๐
The serphtine went into the fangpyre tomb but it is either they did not shut if fully so they could get out or lord garmadon later relased the snakes and sensei was not spit up he was inside the great devourer’s body and when lord garmadon killed it and it exploded sensei just fell out and pythor most likely is dead like samukai.
I’m not sure the pirates are on Garmadons’s team. Plus, there are still three snake spinners that we know about that are going to be released in sept. Also, there could be a snike spinner eventually. . .
No snike is exlcusive to the samurai mech if he had a booster pack or spinner it would of came out already or come later will the other spinners.
Also there is 1 snake spinner that comes later it is slithraa’s the other two are ninjas obiosule NRG zane and lloyd zx so there not all snakes majorty is ninjas.
How is the majority ninjas? ๐ And ofcourse, I know that there will be 3 more spinners plus two more booster packs in sept; I was pointing out that snakes are still around in the lego release. My point about Snike was that he might eventually have a spinner (although so far there don’t seem to be any plans for one) – in which case, of course, he would no longer be exclusive to the Mech. ๐
By majort of the ninjas i ment from the spinners and the next season most likely may not have any snakes but may too so there could be a snike spinner but i really doubt it.

If your talking about the scared flute that pythor stole he destoryed it most likely after using it to cheat to become snake king and lord garmadon is leading the serphtine if you saw lord garmadon was with the serphtine you could notice acidicus there on what looks like a evil verison of destiny’s bounty and as for nya and sensei it is unknown but it is odd how cole says “sensei said our main objective is to train lloyd” it makes it seem like sensei is dead but im postive sensei and nya are there.
It does make it seem like sensei is dead – but not necessarially. It’s also possible that he could go on another journey. I wouldn’t be so sure that Pythor destroyed the Flute. He might have figured that it would come in handy if he ever needed to cheat again! ๐
True but the other generals could have stolen it and used it against pythor so he might of destoryed it so that would never happen.

Saad, all I know is that they have been correct before the previous season. Now, that doesn’t mean they are correct this time, but it does give them some credibility. ๐
I think they’re probably right in the main things, but there’s a whole lot of detail missing. The main thing I don’t understand is the weapons “adapting ability”. If Garmadon has the weapons, how can the ninjas make them adapt? ๐
