BrickLink Designer Program Series 4 Voting Open

As we discussed a few days ago, crowdfunding for the BrickLink Designer Program Series 1 is happening now. Three of the five projects have already sold out, but there are still two more that accept orders; the LEGO General Store – Wild West by llucky, and the LEGO Parisian Street by NicolasCarlier. For more info, visit the BrickLink Designer Program Series 1 page.

At the same time, voting for BrickLink Designer Program Series 4 has begun. BrickLink members are invited to vote for their favorite submissions. This crowd vote weighs in alongside the BrickLink Designer Team’s internal selection criteria and influences the designs chosen for the crowdfunding stage. Voting is open until February 16th. After the team checks every design for building experience, brand fit, and crowd favorites, they will reveal the five finalists on March 18th, which will then be available for pre-order sometime in 2025.

There are 235 projects in Series 4 by talented LEGO fans, and you have a choice to pick as many of your favorites as you like. If you have a few minutes, I encourage you to review the list and make your choices, as this is an important step in determining which projects will have a chance to become official LEGO sets. You can vote at the BrickLink Designer Program Series 4 page.

If you have some favorite projects you can share them with friends and family. The more votes, the better! And you’re also welcome to share and discuss them in the comment section below.

LEGO Collectible Minifigures Series 25 Overview

At the beginning of the year, LEGO released a new series of collectible minifigures with some adorable characters. So, let’s take a look at LEGO Minifigures Series 25!

The series comes with the following 12 collectible characters: the Triceratops Costume Fan, the Sprinter, the Film Noir Detective, the Train Kid, the Goatherd, the Vampire Knight, the Pet Groomer, the Fitness Instructor, the E-Sports Gamer, the Mushroom Sprite, the Fierce Barbarian, and the Harpy.

Each of the characters is highly detailed and comes with accessories. Take a look at the tiny train of the Train Kid (and he also comes with a cute cap). The Goatherd brings back the ultra-rare goat mould that previously only appeared in a single set. The Vampire Knight is armored with the old shield and helmet design from the 1980s. The Pet Groomer introduces a brand new dog. The Sprinter comes with prosthetic legs. And the Mushroom Sprite wears an adorable mushroom costume and also comes with a pretty butterfly. In the video below, you can see all 12 characters in detail.

Please note that the minifigures are no longer in packets, but in small cardboard boxes, so we can’t feel what’s inside each packet as we used to be able to. Some LEGO fans figured out a way to identify them by weight, and halfway through production LEGO also implemented scannable QR codes to help fans identify the minifigures (the codes differ by region). You can find the minifigures at local retailers, official LEGO stores, and the Online LEGO Shop. The Online LEGO Shop sells them both individually and as a six-pack. Both listings are available at the LEGO Minifigures section of the Online LEGO Shop.

What do you think? How do you like the latest series of the LEGO Collectible Minifigures? Do you have any favorites? Or are you collecting them all? Feel free to share and discuss in the comment section below!
