How The LEGO Movie should have ended…

Recently our favorite LEGO stop-motion animators the BrotherhoodWorkshop teamed up with the How It Should Have Ended (HISHE) YouTube channel to create an alternate ending to The LEGO Movie. It is so well done and so funny I had to share it with you right away. 🙂

How The LEGO Movie Should Have Ended by The Brotherhood Workshop

Watch as Superman and Batman discuss how The LEGO Movie should have ended… according to Superman. And Batman, of course, is just too awesome. Make sure you watch the video to the end.

This video really takes LEGO stop-motion to the next level; combining snippets from the film and stop-motion animation seamlessly. If you are interested in The LEGO Movie sets used in the film, you can check them out at the Online LEGO Shop.

Brotherhood Workshop and HISHE are just too cool (and funny)!

It’s pretty hilarious how this is just like HISHE’s Superhero Café episodes!

    • Beardless Dwarf May 8, 2014, 10:54 AM

Yeah the best part was Batman’s song at the end. He could release that on his new album with his ‘Darkness’ song =P

      • ninja of stealth May 8, 2014, 1:01 PM

        yeah good idea! 😀

    • Chi-bacca May 7, 2014, 2:21 PM

Don’t worry we can’t always comment all the time, I certainly haven’t in a while 😀
Anyway, regarding the minifig scale minecraft sets the only info we have is the set names but even these might be wrong! Here they are:
      LEGO Minecraft The Cave 21113 – € 19.95
      LEGO Minecraft The Farm 21114 – € 29.95
      LEGO Minecraft The First Night 21115 – € 39.95
      LEGO Minecraft Creative Box 21116 – € 54.95
      LEGO Minecraft The Ender Dragon 21117 – € 69.95
      LEGO Minecraft The Mine 21118 – € 99.95

      • BLProductions May 7, 2014, 5:15 PM

Huh, I haven’t seen those prices before. Uh, how do you change €69.95 into US dollars? I’d like to see how much that Ender Dragon is before i start saving for it. 😐

        • Chi-bacca May 8, 2014, 2:16 AM

You could always use an online converter but that doesn’t always reveal the true price.
          I’d say £60/$60 but I don’t know for sure….

    • admin May 7, 2014, 10:13 PM

That’s awesome that you guys are going to have a chance to try out Minecraft! Let me know how you like it. As far as the minifig size Minecraft sets, there is no update as of yet. LEGO is working on it, and there was a teaser picture released on Easter, but that’s it.

      • Chris July 19, 2014, 5:16 PM

Dang those prices are high ( except for the farm, cave, and first night)

  • lego trooper 91 May 7, 2014, 12:59 PM

sorry doble coment my bad 😉

  • Kim May 7, 2014, 1:35 PM

Ha that was pretty funny and it never occurred to me that so many of the world’s super heroes or powerful people got captured so easily…good stuff. I’m gonna have to check out both HISHE and Brotherhood Workshop.

  • Micho May 7, 2014, 2:06 PM

I gotta say this is the best HISHE yet. It flowed very smoothly with the movie itself, and I really do hope that they make it part of the Blu Ray extras since there is an official LEGO relationship between the Brotherhood and LEGO.

    • admin May 7, 2014, 10:14 PM

Yes, that would be really fun, although I don’t know if there is time to add it to the Blu Ray. It’s a great idea though! 😛

  • Chi-bacca May 7, 2014, 2:23 PM

    EVERYTHING IS BATMAN!!!!
I watched this the other day (mainly because I pretty much live on youtube 😛 ) and it is very well done, HISHE and brotherhood workshop never fail to produce awesome videos!! 😀

  • BLProductions May 7, 2014, 5:13 PM

This is so funny! 🙂 I think Batman says the two best lines in the video. Everything is Batman AND Awesome! 😛
Also, this HISHE is funny too, it’s the Desolation of Smaug:

Also, the SW visual Dictionary (updated) is out, I might get it.

  • Kim May 8, 2014, 1:03 AM

I got a chance to watch all of Brotherhood Workshop’s videos. So funny! I’d love to see them do a bit more than the mostly Lord of the Rings / Hobbit stuff though!

    • admin May 8, 2014, 9:33 AM

Kim, they do have other LEGO stop-motion videos, but they do them in collaboration with others (like the HISHE video or the ones commissioned by LEGO, etc.). It is a good idea to follow their Facebook page because there they talk about all the videos they work on, not just the ones on their channel. 😉

  • Brad May 8, 2014, 1:39 AM

I didn’t notice this the first time I watched it, but that Green Lantern is a Decool (Chinese clone brand) copy, not the actual SDCC collectible. You can tell because the angles on the edges of the torso are sharper, and also the torso printing is significantly off center.

    • admin May 8, 2014, 9:34 AM

Brad, good eyes! That would make sense though as that minifig is extremely rare and costs a fortune. I know a lot of people who buy the Chinese made ones as a substitute.

  • Piggyy69 May 8, 2014, 12:01 PM

    CHEW ON THIS!

Best line ever! Awesome animation, not suprising as it’s brotherhood workshop!

  • MrSamwiseGamgee May 29, 2014, 2:27 PM

Superman should have beaten up those micro managers! I mean, he’s like a professional giant robot killer!

  • JayZX535 August 17, 2015, 3:23 AM

“Everything is BATMAN” XD XD XD This… just… this XD Can we take a moment to appreciate how Superman and Batman are just casually sitting down for coffee while the DUPLOs are trying to take over the world? XD
