I saw the episode last night on TV. Although at the end credits, there was no promo for the next episode… well, just going to have to find out next Wednesday!
Unfortunatly, there might not be an episode next wednessday, just like last season, where in between episodes 6 and 7 there was an episode 3 repeat. But that actually might be good (!) since if you recall, episode 3 was “Snake Bit”, where Jay’s parents were bitten by snakes. And in episode 7, “once Bitten, Twice Shy” Jay gets – well, not exactly bitten, but he starts turning into a snake. So maybe replaying episode 2 “Pirates vs. ninja” in between this episode and the next (“The Stone Army”) means that there will be pirates in the next episode? that would be cool, if you ask me! ๐
Yes, that is correct. We have a Ti-Vo that tells us upcoming episodes. I don’t know if the Wednesday after next will have “The Stone Army”, but the next one is “Pirates VS. Ninja”. Hope that helps. ๐

But if they distroyed the mega weapon, that means there is no wishing power, therefore no grundel, therefore no shrinking into kids, and no tea to make them older which led to Lloyd being older. So Llyod isn’t suppose to be older at the end. He should still be a kid. And then there is no mega weapon to do anything like pirates and the thing at the end of ninjaball run with splitting the earth.
IT MAKES NO SENSE TO MAKE AN EPISODE LIKE THIS. it changes so many things and makes everything NOT happen. there would be no pirates vs ninjas, no ninjaball run, no child’s play…
But I think the whole thing about changing the past… as it was said before, then if garmadon succeeded in changing the past, there would be different endings. It’s very complicated about you do this and so and so will change. Also imagine what audience this is directed to. Younger kids aged maybe around what, 5-9? 10? how are they suppose to get it?
But i do like the thing about going into the past and all. it’s a very good addition.
Destroying the mega weapon only undid the changes to the past. Therefore everything in the past happened exaclty the same except there is no more mega weapon NOW.
That makes sense excpet that Lloyd said “What mega-weapon?” Even though there is no weapon now (theoretically) Lloyd should still have known about the past mega weapon!
Yes, also Nuckal said he saw TWO ninja, (future Kai and past Kai,) but past Kai was not a ninja. Plus, the Green Ninja wouldn’t have been discovered, and once past Kai decided not to become a ninja, future Kai wouldn’t have been there to talk some sense into himself because he wouldn’t be on the mission in the first place. In other words, time travel confuses me. ๐

I think the real reason for this episode, (and in my oppinion this entire season) is to sell out the summer sets and the other sets they hav’nt sold out. That’s why they brought the skull truck, the Ultra Sonic Raider, and the Ultra-dragon up so much.

I actually just checked that same website to see if it will be premiering on September 5th, and (ironically) it didn’t even show an episode premiering at 8:00 p.m. that day! I’ll just have to check back a few days from now when they have the official schedule up (this one didn’t show which episode was being shown past next Friday (not today, but next Friday). I would be sooooo angry if i found out Ninjago wasn’t premiering that week either.
in case anyone was wondering its still me ultra evan but i had to change my email adress a few weeks ago i really liked this ep but the ending made no sense. i can understand how destroying the mega weapon in the past caused a time paradox. oh hey just now thought of it! it all does make sense! sincwe the mega weapon was destroyed in the past with all of the future events being played with the mega weapons influence (like llyods age) when the mega weapon was past by its past self(the 4 weapons) it created a time paradox. that paradox changed all of time. so llyod has always been the same age as the ninja now. the mega weapon never excisted now. not queit sure how the paradox works cause time and paradox’s are confusing. but in the next ep we will see how it all plays out. just remeber that a time paradox can seriously change the events of time. even to the point where it make no sense.(llyod could have woke up older one day) and remeber that the trigger of the paradox was the mega weapon. i dunno.paradox pair of ducks right?

I really think we are all over thinking this episode. All the glitches we are noticing are probably never going to be explained. It just comes with the confusion of time travel. I bet that the Ninjago creators were just trying to figure out a way to destroy the mega weapon, and since only a weapon of equal or greater power can destroy it, the only way they could come up with was to go into the past. They probably just had it to cause all of the good things that came from what Garmadon did, such as Lloyd becoming an adult. The only problem i could come up with that will probably be revealed is who has the golden weapons (and do they still exist)?
When i said, “they probably just had it…”, the ‘it’ was the mega weapon. ๐
If they don’t exist (and it seems to me that they couldn’t) then I think a big “uh-oh” is in order ๐ Yeah, you’re probably right, most of these things will never get explained. If only Lloyd hadn’t said “What Mega Weapon?” though! ๐
Besides, the mega weapon wasn’t really destoryed, just sent out to space. Seinse Wu was sitting on top of the Bounty when he saw it ๐

I saw the episode and… well… Nya started to disappear? I don’t know why and I’m happy that the mega-weapon is in space:D
Basically all that had to be done was that they had to destroy the mega weapon, and they were successful in that and if you remember they said it all started, because of the mega weapon and if they destroyed it then everything would be back to normal and the past would not remember what happened. So that’s how it works theoretically.

I think you guys are right about the reason they are skipping the episode this week and showing the Pirates vs. Ninja’s episode and that is because the next episode has to do with Pirates. Although i think we need to think bigger. I think the rest of the season will have to do with the pirates!!!!! If you want to know why, it is because that episode 10 is called: ISLAND OF DARKNESS!! That is the place that the pirates mentioned in the episode Pirates vs. Ninja! (the reason i never realized this earlier is becuase i for some reason could never remember the name of episode 10 ๐ณ ๐ :)) I mean, it all makes sense!!! Garmadon had the mega weapon which caused all these events to happen (such as releasing the pirates and making Lloyd older), and now they (the creators) can get into the real story, the pirates!!!!! As i told my brother (who was starting to dislike Ninjago because of the “day to day” problems), everything that happens in Ninjago happens for a reason. And now we know the reason!!!! Before i saw the last episode, i thought Garmadon would create the stone army using the mega weapon. Now i agree with you guys! It must be the pirates’ doing!

Zane said that if they destroy the mega weapon, everything in that episode would be normal. It means only the time travel damage would be fine. Everything else that the mega weapon did is the same, but all the things garmadon did in the past would be fixed. So the grundle still happened, the pirates still happened, the bounty was still fixed, and everything else is the same. Garmadon went to the past IN THE FUTURE. I’m saying that the mega weapon was destroyed when the present ninja saw it. The mega weapon was not destroyed in season 1. It was destroyed in season 3. I hope you see where im going with this. Im still working on the “my father has a mega weapon?” theory. This is just what I think. I’m going to rewatch the episode.

Yeah. When my dad watched it (he likes Ninjago but just wont admit it) he said, i’m a 42 year old grown man and i didn’t understand that very well. ๐
My dad has seen the most recent episodes of Ninjago, but he hasn’t seen season 1 or about half of season 2.
This show may seem for little kids, but as i told my brother, there are some parts that only older kids and adults would get.

When we were watching the most recent episode, right before it came on my mom called my dad to come outside and sit with her (which he would usually be fine with), but he said that he couldn’t because we were forcing him to watch Ninjago with us. I started laughing because not only did we not force him, we didn’t even tell him to come watch it with us whatsoever!! Oh, and once we watched an episode while he was putting my little brother to bed, and he came down right when it ended and he said, “you watched it without me?!?” We ended up watching it a second time that school night instead of getting our baths and going to bed (which we did later) ๐

I figured out why Lloyd said what he said. It’s because it was destroyed in the past so as Lloyd grew up, he never knew about it and it never exsisted in the future.

just because the mega weapon was destroyed, doesn’t mean that the potion didn’t take affect. When the mega weapon was destroyed, everything it made never happened, but the mega weapon didn’t make lloyd older, it just made the grendal and the tiny ninja. So lloyd would have still taken effect by the potion.

The next part is a theory from a show I watch. It might not make sense.
Ok. In a show I watched an element in the show disappeared into a void. The void makes it so the element never existed. But the things it did do stayed. Nobody remembered it, but it still did things that effected everyone else. Ninjago might be doing the same thing. This explains why Lloyd said what he said. Btw, in the show( not ninjago) one person remembered it because it was imporeant to him, which explains why the ninja remembered it.

5: lloyd: he is not at the bottem because I dont like him, I do like him. He is just not my favorite.
4: jay: I think his vehicle is cool, but his weapon isn’t.
3: Kai: Kai is cool because he has fire element, which is my second favorite element.
2: Cole: I think cole is funny and he’s the team leader. I like leaders! ๐
1: Zane. I seem to have a strange attraction to robots. I think that they are interesting. Plus, ice is my favorite element, and shurikens are awesome.
Kai, (I love red and am determined to stick to my original favorite), Lloyd, then Zane, Jay (who would beat Zane if it weren’t for Nya), Cole, and if Nya counts, she comes last. I just like her least, although she’s not too bad ๐ (and Sensei would be inbetween Jay and Cole ๐ )

Ok, cole is stronger than jay element wise, and strength wise. Jay is fast, but if cole got his hands on jay, he would be in trouble. All the ninja rely on their weapons, plus the scythe is a good weapon. And if you can use a dance move as a fight move, it means your creative.

oh yeah after rewatching the ep of ninjago where the ninja have that tornament. i came up with this

#1. kai vs jay
#2. cole vs samukai
#3. llyod(younger) vs pirare cpt soto
vote for the who would win in these battles!
for #2, i think samukai would win because of his four arms. but cole is smart; unlike samukai making them almost equal. so all in all, cole would win.
