And that is the full line-up of the LEGO The Hobbit sets! A wonderful selection for any Tolkien fan! My personal favorite is the #79003 Hobbit hole, and according to the reviews I have read, it is a favorite of everyone who had a chance to see it personally or build it already. If you can only buy one of the Hobbit sets, I would suggest this one. #79002 Attack of the Wargs is also very nice with a great selection of minifigures, a great looking tree and two Wargs! I’m not a big fan of the two smallest sets (#79000 & #79001), but the ones mentioned above and the largest ones (#79004 & #79010) are real winners! 😀

If you bought all of these… it would come out to $300. Wow.
Yeah, so better be reall good for Santa! BTW, I don’t think every LEGO set has to be bought. I don’t buy everything either. In fact I’m very selective and only buy sets I really-really like (in this case the Hobbit Hole), or the ones that are really good for parts. I leave the rest for others to enjoy. 😉
The Riddle For The Ring looks like a cool set to get. 🙂
YES! YES! YES! MORE PRECIOUS, MORE!!!
Not thrilled with a lot of these sets, though I’m sure I’ll get most of them. They have a bit of a cartoony feel to me. Like the orc king’s face. What’s up with that? And they are priced on the high side. None of these are close to the golden price per piece ratio.
LOVE the hobbit hole set though.
The Unexpected gathering and barrel escape both look nice, pieces especially – since I’m not at all interested in the minifigs, I might try to get them w/o minifigs – or try selling them! (I will be in the US next year, so it might be possible!)
i agree barrel escape and unexpected gathering are my fav
i am saving my money for the 2013 star wars lego sets 😉
I want Bag End and Attack of the Wargs but too close to Christmas. I’d want Riddle for the Ring if I didn’t already have Gollum. There are also at least two mini-fig polybags Mirkwood Elf Guard #30212 and Gandalf #30213.
I think I heard somewhere that it’s a different Gollum… though that could have been talking about something else. 😉
Yes, Gollum’s facial expression is different in the new Hobbit set. I actually like it better than the first one. Kinda cute! Evil cute. 🙄
Yeah, I should have probably added those polybags, but since they are only available at Toys’R’Us, and not even at all locations it is probably better to just pick them up at BrickLink or something.
WOW!! I literally just got the barrel escape set! Along with the seatle space needle set, and the pretzel guy cms!
WHAT!! lucky! i changed my mind and now want all of them! i will buy the warg set in a week or so 😉 😀
they are so awesome the Attack of the Wargs is my fav B-) 😉

Just in time for Christmas

Tauriel is so cool! I can’t wait to see her in the movie!

I want riddles for the one ring and attack of the wargs.
I don’t so much care for Riddles for the Ring, but I do like those Wargs!
Do you Admin?
I love Legolas,What do you call a lego elf? LEGO-LAS!!!!!!!!!!!!
Although Tauriel is the Lego-Lass…
And i tried that name for my lego user, and their have been about 3000 people already with that username. 🙁
where can you actually get barrel escape now that there actually out admin?
My understanding is that Barrel Escape is an exclusive set, so I believe it will only be available at LEGO stores, TRU and maybe Amazon.
Hear tell it’s on eBay too (although those are usually markups). The goblin town set is rumored to be exclusive to Target, although it’s the one set I haven’t actually seen there yet.
you are not the lego fan i am i am booooooooooo booooooooooo boooooooooooooooooooo
Please… this is not YouTube where any lame comment goes. 🙁
Funny, i think they’re actually sticking to the book on this one. 😀
