We haven’t heard from the BrotherhoodWorkshop for quite some time now, so I was very happy to hear that they just released a new LEGO video. This one is also based on the The Hobbit movie. You can find links to their previous videos at the end of this post. Check them out, they are fun! 🙂
This LEGO video was inspired by the second The Hobbit trailer, specifically Thranduil’s line where he says, “Legolas has grown quite fond of you. Do not give him hope where there is none…”
Poor Legolas! He risks his life to save Tauriel from elf-eating spiders! You’d think that would win him some points, right? No. Once you are “friendzoned”, nothing can save you. At least he has friends… and a new Hobbit menu from Denny’s…
I really like the use of the spiders from the currently available LEGO The Hobbit sets, and the stop-motion animation, sound-effects and voice-over are perfect and funny as usual. Reference to the previous An Elvish Valentine video with the dejected Orc is also cute. I also recommend checking out the LEGO version of The Desolation of Smaug trailer the brothers released previously. (Both linked at the end of this post.)
So what do you think? How do you like this LEGO stop-motion video? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section! And to see previously released LEGO videos from the BrotherhoodWorkshop check below, or you can also visit their YouTube Channel directly for more.

I love brotherhood workshop!! Their stop motions are fantastic! Who has seen their hobbit trailer video? wasn’t it epic?!
Yeah, that one was a really good one also! 🙂
I haven’t. I wasn’t in a buffering mood…
Anyways, I think its great, but rather cliched. They could have tried for another line. I’m loving the continuity nods to these videos.
I’ve seen all their stuff
nice, but I am not a hobbit fan. also I cant wait till tomorrow morning I can open my lego star wars adventure calendar door 1
Yeah me too 😀 so excited!!!!!
Oh and would you guys like me to write in the comments mini reviews of each days models including all the calendars?
Nice! 😀
I know this is off topic, but, when will the Ninjago 2014 sets be released in IE? I really want to get them…….
They were released today. Read today’s post under the Latest News section: http://thebrickblogger.com/2013/12/2014-lego-ninjago-sets-available-more/
They have only been released in US, as far as I can tell.
Hm… that’s possible. I’m not familiar with the release date of other countries. If you are not in the USA it is best to call your local LEGO store and they will be able to tell you. 😉
Alright, thanks
yeah! I can’t wait to get the Kai fighter! not to be off topic or anything… 🙄
