LEGO customizer CitizenBrick just came out with a whole range of custom LEGO minifigures I couldn’t wait to show you. As we have mentioned before (see link at the end of this post) CitizenBrick specializes in custom printed LEGO elements and minifigures – in fact, they use the same printing method LEGO uses, so the quality and durability of the pieces is excellent! 🙂

The custom printed LEGO minifigures in this series is named “The Dragon Sword Fighter Force”; fully printed, gorgeously detailed minifigs with included capes, armor, weapons, etc. – all in collectors’ packs. Below is the official description of these minifigures. Any resemblance to Game of Thrones characters is purely coincidental. 🙄

“Dragons! Knights! Totally inappropriate family relations! Join the adventure as these brave fighters cross swords with some of the most fearsome foes in the realm. Whether defending their kingdom or clamoring for the crown, these minifigs are ready for a battle royale to the death. Horde the complete series of stunning figs before every character you like is killed off. Your honor is at stake!”

“Citizen Brick is proud to unveil our most ambitions effort to date – The Dragon Sword Fighter Force! Four different sets of three minifigs packaged in full color blister cards. Every sets comes with crazy detailing: uniquely pad-printed body parts, weapons, and custom cloth elements. Best of all, purchase all four sets at once and get a 13th bonus minifig (while supplies last).”

So as you can see, the complete custom LEGO minifig series includes all 12 DSFF characters plus the bonus minifig “Sir Typesalot”. The price for the whole set is $220 – yeah, quite a bit, but they are actually cheap compared to other professionally printed minifigures (the avarage price is usually around $25, these are only $18). If you only want to get some of the characters, packets of three minifigures in each are also available for $55 a pack. You can get them at CitizenBrick.com.

Although these minifigures are fully play-ready as the printing is very durable (see my previous review linked at the end of this post), I believe they will mostly appeal to collectors who want the best of the best. Game of Thrones fans should be falling all over these. Personally I love the printing on the minifigs and I’m considering picking up a few. They would perfectly fit in any LEGO medieval or fantasy setting.
What do you think? How do you like these custom printed LEGO minifigures by CitizenBrick? Which one is your favorite? Feel free to share and discuss in the comment section below! 😉
